Out of the depths of Despair have you called me.
Let your Holy Light engulf me.
May I have forgiveness of darkened foes,
Which I have mingled with treachery poles.
The mire I was surrendered,
Seeing the pit muddy and cold.
Take me out of this prison mold.
I want to fly out of this flesh,
It holds me back like a clenching fist.
May I truly walk in your ways
Taking me from decay.
With you oh Lord is the love from above
Unfolding like a flock of turtle doves,
Make me your bird to fly with your spirit inside mine
Soaring ever so high
Giving glory to you alone,
May I prosper in your stride within me May there be no Pride!
